Cricket stole my heart the minute she was born, and I knew immediately she was staying with the Jericho pack. Her name was a natural, as she is always hopping and bouncing joyfully. She far surpassed any of the hopes we had for this girl, achieving her championship title very easily in the show ring, and whipping through the various running titles with ease.

Her running career has been a huge success, and quite a surprise to many. A top finisher for several years in each ASFA, NOTRA, AKC, and LGRA. She was awarded Best in Fields at several major events, and Best in Event for the huge CHAMP Cup and the Voodoo Memorial Trophy. She stunned and amazed judges with her near greyhound speed, saluki like agility, and of course her typical pharaoh hound enthusiasm. In 2007, Cricket was officially retired from running.
