Amun Ra is the outstanding pick male out of our "Finnish" litter, that is co-owned and lives with Denny and Brandy Baker.  He has far exceeded any of our expectations as a puppy.  His balance and fluid movement made it a thrill to show him.  He finished his Championship easily, and in his short career as a Special, he consistently stayed in the breeds' top 10.  As a Veteran at the National Specialty in 2007, he not only won the veteran stake at the Lure Coursing, but also won the Veteran class at the show, and was chosen for an Award of Merit.

His Lure Coursing career is typical of a Jericho Pharaoh.  He is a very powerful runner with tremendous speed, reminiscent of his mother Missy and his grandfather Er'o.  Racing on the oval track, his speed was only surpassed by his litter sister Cricket.

Amun Ra sired a litter of 4 at DesertPhoenix Pharaohs.  All four out of this litter have been awarded at least one Best in Field, making it the only entire litter to achieve this honor.   He is also the sire of the most recent litter at Jericho, out of our beautiful girl Xena.  This very promising litter is young and most have not started their careers yet.  It will be fun to see what they achieve over the next few years.
